Android Update system image without downloading

There is time when you have to reconfigure the development environment. And due to the slow internet, it is not feasible to download emulator system images.

Here is what we can do to prevent it.

Get a copy of system image.

For example:/home/users/shubham.agarwal/Android/SDK/system-images/android-23

Here android-23 is the system-images located in one of the directories of Android SDK.

Just make a backup of it and whenever required, just save it in the SDK folder which governs your current DeV environment/Android studio.

Please make sure you have .android (hidden file)  in your home directory, so that configuration can be done once again.

Hope this saves your time and effort and waiting for system-images.

That’s all folks. Stay updated !!
